Description:

NRPA is looking for aquatic facility operator professionals to assist in Preparing the Profession for the Future. In conjunction with PSI Services LLC., NRPA will be conducting a Job Analysis for the Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) and Certified Park and Recreation Executive (CPRE) programs. This analysis will review the current CPRP/CPRE core competencies and identify changes needed to shape the CPRP and CPRE programs for the next 5 years.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of full-time experience in parks and recreation or related area
  • There is no certification requirement

Commitment

  • Attend one 8-hour meeting and two 4-hour meetings in late March or early April 2026
  • Attend one 8-hour follow-up meeting in July or August 2026
  • All meetings will be held virtually via Zoom (or similar platform)

Service on the CPRP/CPRE Job Analysis Task Force can be submitted for 2 Professional Service Experience (PSE) points which is equivalent to 0.2 CEUs. Please contact Amanda Seymour, Certification Manager at NRPA, with questions at aseymour@nrpa.org
