Description:

The CPSI exam committee oversees the development and maintenance of the National CPSI examination and works in cooperation with the professional testing agency under contract with NRPA.

Purpose of the committee:

To develop examination questions.
To modify and improve test questions.
To evaluate reliability and validity of the exam in conjunction with the professional testing agency.
To manage other duties that may be assigned.

Committee members must meet the following qualifications:

• have six years or more experience in the playground industry;
• maintain a current CPSI certification with NRPA; and
• must have maintained a CPSI certification for a minimum of 6 years (two certification cycles); and
• must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field or no less than 10 years of experience in the playground industry.
