Description:

NRPA is looking for aquatic facility operator professionals to assist in Preparing the Profession for the Future. In conjunction with PSI Services LLC., NRPA will be conducting a Job Analysis for the Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) program. This analysis will review the current AFO core competencies and identify changes needed to shape the AFO program for the next 5 years.

Qualifications
  • At least two years of full-time experience in aquatic facility operation or related area
  • There is no certification requirement
Commitment
  • Attend one 8-hour meeting and two 4-hour meetings in late March or early April 2022
  • Attend one 8-hour follow-up meeting in July or August 2022
  • All meetings will be held virtually via Zoom (or similar platform)
Service on the AFO Job Analysis Task Force can be submitted for 2 Professional Service Experience (PSE) points which is equivalent to 0.2 CEUs. Please contact Elizabeth Gonzales, Aquatics Program Manager at NRPA, with questions at egonzales@nrpa.org
