With a career spanning over two decades, I currently serve as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Community College of Philadelphia and a Faculty Professor in Recreation, Parks, Tourism, and Management at Penn State University. My teaching focuses on Tourism & Leisure Behavior, Leisure & Human Behavior, and related courses, where I apply my expertise in higher education, student leadership, and accessibility of leisure services to inspire student learners.
My passion and interest in racquet sports, especially tennis has been a tremendous motivator and guide in increasing leisure awareness! Most recently, during the pandemic, I found the coaching and mentoring to be rewarding both in the parks and for student athletes. I found the competition is fun, a commitment to the healthiest sport in the world! Teamwork builds character and fosters social connections. This is my foundation for recreation participation in the parks, to bring families and friends together to enjoy outdoor recreation!
